Nasal strips are thin, firm and flexible bands that grip the nose wings tightly during sleep and prevent snoring. They are highly elastic, which allows them to fit every nose shape with ease. Internally, they are built of lofty, spring-like elastic material which enable them to pull out the nasal passages and allow better nose breathing. This negates the need for mouse breathing too. Nasal strips are fit for every skin type as they are made of non-allergic materials.

There has one customer feedback like this: My wife recently got me a box of these Breathe Right Extra Clear strips for sensitive skin. There are two differences from the plain wide Breathe Rights: (1) the top surface is plastic on this one, which is necessary to make the strip transparent, and (2) the adhesive is not as strong as the regular Breathe Rights. The advantage to the weaker adhesive is that it makes the strip easier to remove in the morning, and it leaves less of a sticky residue. The disadvantage to the weaker adhesive is, of course, the risk that it doesn't stick well enough or doesn't last the night. I have to stick it on right before I go to bed. If I stick it on earlier, I'll start crinkling my nose for awhile and that will gradually weaken the adhesive bond.

To be honest, I like the regular wide Breathe Rights better than this one. I don't like the plasticky feel over the nose with this one, and I have to be careful to apply the strip with enough force to keep it on for the whole night. I've had a couple fail on me, so I have to press them down hard to get them to stick well. I prefer a situation when I press the strip down and it stays and I don't worry about it. With this one, I keep checking the bond and press it down a little more, so it's less carefree.

This strip is great if the original adhesive is too much for you, and if you choose to wear one in a public setting and you want a strip that's more inconspicuous.
