I personally feel like the KONGDY Foot Pads are highly effective. The first time I heard about these types of Detox Pads was about 2 years ago. My mother-in-law enjoys all types of detox and health products, and she and my brother in law were trying these foot pads at the time. They ran out before I had the chance to try them but I remained intrigued to this day. I think anyone would be intrigued if they saw a clean white pad applied to a person’s foot at night and in the morning the pad turned pitch black. I believe that those were the results of excessive alcohol consumption. However, I expected the same results because I’ve been taking multiple medication’s for about 7 years now for my chronic illnesses. Although what really pushed me to do this is when I broke my foot and had to take additional pain preventatives.What I love the most about this product is that it assists your body in the removal of heavy metals, metabolic wastes, microscopic parasites, mucous, chemicals, excess fat, and other harmful substance in the most natural way. I’m very cautious about what goes into my body. To give you a picture about how cautious; I read every ingredient in the foods I eat and products I use, I don't wear makeup, I don't dye my hair, I don't put nail polish on, and I even use baby shampoo and body wash. Our body is our temple and we need to do everything we can to take care of it. So here are the ingredients.
1. Bamboo Vinegar 35%
Bamboo Vinegar is a liquid that forms during the process of producing bamboo charcoal. This type of vinegar is known to remove toxins such as heavy metals from your body that can reduce hypertension or even help you to lose weight. It is believed that bamboo vinegar is also able to extract toxins from the liver, and lymphatic systems. However these extreme benefits are still in question. The facts that are reliable are that they eliminate food odor, soften the skin, relieve itching and insect bites and improve blood circulation.
2. Wood Vinegar 35%
-It is derived from Ubame oak trees and and heated to 250 degrees Celsius. Then the smoke from the heat is collected, condensed, and distilled into wood vinegar. It’s filtered to achieve maximum purity and aged for at least six months. The last stage involves it being dried in a special machine that converts it in to a powder form. Besides aiding in detoxification, it also aids in the healing of open cuts and wounds because the natural acidity of the vinegar helps kill bacteria and reduce the risk of infection. Which makes me question why the seller advises it’s consumers to avoid open cuts and wound. Wood vinegar is also known for about 18 other health benefits to which I will allow the reader to explore further.
3. Tourmaline 8%
-As an energizing gemstone, tourmaline is believed to vitalize the skin, making it appear more radiant and youthful. So why is this ingredient added to a foot pad? The pyroelectric properties of tourmaline causes it to generate an electric charge during a temperature change. So when the pads are applied to your skin, the tourmaline becomes positively charged on one end and negatively charged on the other end, creating heat and stimulating circulation. In the realm of holistic, it is also believed to strengthen the body and spirit. So as a short description in the beauty and health realm, it increases collagen and increases blood circulation that aids in the excretion of your bodies toxic chemicals.
4. Dextrin 12%
-Dextrin is a natural fiber with a lot to offer. It can support your body’s ability to remove wastes because it’s a water-soluble carbohydrate that acts as a natural binding agent. That’s why it’s used in detox pads. Their ability to provide growth to beneficial bacteria in the digestive system also aids cleansing, as probiotics are an essential component of reducing toxic bacteria that contribute to common health conditions. In addition to that, it may help provide satiation, helping the body feel full and satisfied and reduces the size of fat cells in which both aspects are aids in healthy weight loss.
5. Vitamin C 1%
I also love that the pads come at such an affordable price for 100 pads and 100 adhesives. I really wasn't expecting a bag so large. The pads diameters are 3.2 inches x 2.4 inches and the adhesives are 4.8 inches x 2.4 inches.
I believe that it discharges internal moisture toxins through acupuncture points, however further testing is needed for me to firmly state that it relaxes tendons, relieves fatigue, improves sleeping and skin and recover from sub-health. I have Fibromyalgia, chronic insomnia, muscle spasms, etc. and I have yet to make sure it’s making a noticeable impact. Nonetheless, I am aware that this is a homeopathic aid and not a cure for any health challenges I may have. With that being said, I will update this review in the upcoming months to see if it indeed does all it claims and see if the black color reduces over time.
Truth be told, I would have purchased the KONGDY Foot Pads because I find all homeopathic ways of healing and cleansing to be highly intriguing. They were also highly rated compared to other detox pads.
