Nose strips have become a popular solution for those looking to remove blackheads and unclog pores. These strips adhere to the skin and, when removed, pull out dirt and oil from the pores. But have you ever wondered how they are made?

01. Material Preparation

The first step in the production of nose strips is material preparation. Nose strips are typically made from a combination of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and water. The PVA is heated to create a gel-like substance, which is then mixed with water to create a moldable material.

02. Shaping and Cutting

Once the material is prepared, it is shaped and cut into the appropriate size and shape for nose strips. The material is typically rolled out and cut into strips, with a section removed from the center to allow for placement over the nose.

03. Drying and Packaging

The final step in the process is drying and packaging. The shaped and cut nose strips are placed on drying racks and left to dry for several hours until they harden. Once dry, the strips are packaged for sale.

In addition to these three processes, some nose strip manufacturers may also add additional ingredients to the material mixture, such as charcoal or tea tree oil, to provide additional cleansing or antibacterial properties.
